In 2007, from the gritty urban streets of Manila, Philippines, five-piece dynamic unit ARCADIA emerged. Combining fierce, technical metal riffs and breakdowns rooted in both old school and new school hardcore, the group has quickly gained recognition for their intense live performances and raw, cathartic lyricism. The clamor and respect from their fanbase quickly became obvious as hundreds started flocking to their gigs, earning them one-off performances out of town and across Southeast Asia.
Aiming to foster a sense of community within the Philippine underground heavy scene, Arcadia along with post-hardcore band April Morning Skies, started their monthly all ages show “Moshpit Sundays”, bringing together heavy music enthusiasts for a day of energetic moshing and communal solidarity, and have become an essential recurring series of events in the Filipino hardcore experience.
Since then, ARCADIA has earned credibility and has played numerous bills sharing the stage with international acts with the likes of Sick of It All, Everytime I Die, The Acacia Strain, All For Nothing, etc.
With each release, ARCADIA continues to push the boundaries of their sound while staying true to their roots, securing their spot as one of the most exciting bands to come out of the Filipino hardcore scene. The band is set to release brand new music this 2025.
